Job Overview

Mercor is seeking experienced Customer Service Representatives for remote, contract-based projects. In this role, you will apply your professional customer service experience to complete structured assignments, review service-related materials, and contribute to project deliverables aligned with defined guidelines and quality standards.

This is a fully remote, independent contractor role with flexible scheduling based on project availability.

Key Responsibilities

Create written materials based on common customer service scenarios and workflows

Review and provide constructive feedback on assigned materials to ensure quality and accuracy

Apply customer service best practices to assigned tasks and problem-solving activities

Follow project instructions, deadlines, and quality requirements

Communicate clearly and professionally within project guidelines

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 4 years of professional customer service experience or related experience

Strong written communication skills with attention to detail

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Comfortable reviewing, documenting, and analyzing customer service processes

Reliable access to a computer and internet connection

Work Details

Fully remote and asynchronous work environment

Average workload of up to 30 hours per week, depending on project needs

Project durations typically range from 3–4 weeks, with possible extensions based on performance and availability

Compensation & Contract Terms

Engagement is on an independent contractor basis

Hourly compensation, paid weekly for approved work completed

Payments are processed through supported payment platforms

Contractors maintain control over their schedules and work methods

Projects may be extended or concluded based on business requirements
