Job Overview

Kasango Lounge is seeking a skilled and reliable Barbecue (BBQ) Cook to join our kitchen team in Agidingbi, Lagos. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and grilling barbecue menu items while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety.

This is a full-time, on-site role suited for individuals with experience in grilling and a strong commitment to cleanliness and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and grill barbecue items according to company standards

Ensure proper handling, storage, and portioning of food ingredients

Maintain cleanliness of grills, utensils, and workstations

Monitor food quality, taste, and presentation

Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times

Assist with basic kitchen duties as required

Report equipment issues or supply shortages to management

Requirements & Qualifications

Previous experience as a barbecue or grill cook is required

Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Good time management and attention to detail

Physically fit and able to work in a kitchen environment

Willingness to resume work immediately
